Got a call suggesting that there has been an arrest warrant issued by the government of Canada because my identity has been used for drug trafficking and money laundering in Toronto. I had to move my money to a safer location so they could freeze this account and help me out. I also gave them the SIN.

I am not sure if this company is a scam or fraudulent. I was looking for the forms to apply for the renewal of my Permanent Resident Card and this above mentioned website showed up, emblem of Canada, asking questions about eligibility to apply (I know that this is how the REAL thing starts from the Immigration Office), they congratulated me that I was eligible, next thing they ask me for the fee of CAD 59,- which I filled out not realizing that this was not the actual Immigration website. While I was looking for the forms and could not find the beginning - it always brings me back to the start page with questions and then the payment - I received an email with the payment confirmation and the assurance that I can now start my application. I filled out an application (identical as the one on the Government website I found out later) - at some point I had to stop because I realized that I needed the GUIDELINES and could not find them. So I closed my browser and since then received several emails requesting me to resume my application which I did not do. I send an email after I found out this was NOT the website I wanted and looked for and asked for a refund. Like I said, I am not sure if this company is legit. *** *** ** *** ** ***
