Type of a scam Employment
It was explained that this was for their protection (credit score wouldn't need to be revealed) and this was their way of verifying "the legitimacy of all applicants". The email is below. Needless to say I didn't proceed beyond this point. No other business info - phone, address - was ever provided. The job title also changed slightly with each email.
