Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

This I believe was actually setup a week before on or around 11/28/23. I misdialed Chase Bank using 888-564-2262 instead of 866-564-2262. They then pretended to be Chase bank, and was ready to fix an error on my acct asking for the acct# & Rounting number. I should have known they didn't need my routing number. Then they asked me to identify myself so that they knew it was really me, and told me to say my name & addr etc. Big Mistake. Then told me for my troubles they will send me a $100 Walmart giftcard. I then immediately knew this was bogus. I immediately called back asking to cancel everything. They told me there system was not cooperating and wanted me to use an app to access my phone so that I could verfiy info. I loaded that an was on for 2 minutes and then they wanted me to contact my bank via the phone and enter my Userid & P/W. I refused but I knew this was totally wrong & ended the call and removed the app "ANYDESK" from my phone. A week later, after checking my bank daily I recieved this bogus amount but it was charged to another bank acct with Chase and not the one I gave since I immediately shutdown the acct I gave them over the phone verbally but somehow they wrote a bogus check with the title it was PreAuthorized by me, so I had to cancel that account and change things around. Yes, I made a mistake but thought it was Chase but quickly reversed & shut it down but somehow they still attacked. Beware as I beleive they use Legit firms etc, per their checks or credit charge but I am sure it's just a front. Verify by actually going on line yourself and finding the legit company to see if they charged you. DO NOT USE there phone number or their URL site.
