I noticed a $2.99 charge on my monthly statement for dates 9/14, 9/29, and 10/14. When I went to their website there was no description of who they were or what services they provided. When I tried to cancel online they asked for my credit card number. I called instead to see who they were and what the re-occuring charges were for. The representative on the phone said she could not tell me and she was just the customer service representative for Advert Bureau Inc. She only handles canceling the subscriptions and asked for my name and the first 6 digits and the last 4 digits of my credit card. I gave her my first name and misspelled my last name. I also only gave her the last 4 digits of my card. I did not feel comfortable giving the whole number out. She procceded to cancel the subscription and return the money back to the account instantly. I saw the refund appear on my account within a minute. So she already had my credit card number to begin with. Website looks very fishy and I think its a scam. It started a week after we returned from our Labor Day Vacation to California to see the Braves play. Thankful I caught it right away because it could have been much worse.
