Bill, representing H Construction, said he was doing work in the area, would have a truck or two loads leftover and would fix my driveway for $4 a foot. He was such a fast talker and very pushy, definitely bully vibes. $4 a foot for his driveway would have ended up being 10,000-12,000. Bill hands him the invoice for $30,000! Saying it was $4 an sq foot, which he NEVER stated! Absolutely insane. Also, about half way through the job, because we are in the construction field as well, 3 trucks had come down the driveway, my dad knew the price was rising. He asked Bill where they were half way and Bill said, “well we’re almost done, might as well finish this truck.”

What a scam. He took advantage of my father and his elderly neighbor. Beware!

I spoke to the owner of H. Construction. He didn’t seem to really care. Guess this scam mentality is their business model.
