Type of a scam Home Improvement
Now there was a time for payment when deck material is delivered so I paid him cash and ask for invoice again. This time he said he forgot at home.
When Fence4you ask for another payment after few days I clear said no further payment without having on paper invoice so then he provided an invoice which is completely different what we agreed on.
Fence4you is stealing business from his competitor wrongfully claiming as their subcontractor.
As its almost two months and work is still not done so I called GTADecks.com to cross catch which I should have done on day one. then I did came know that Fence4you has no relation with GTADecks.com nor GTAdeck know them at all. At this point I did realize that I am getting scammed by Fence4you but until I did paid at least 25000 so I had no other choice but have the work done.
During railing installation Fence4you did installed cheaper and different glass material panel our consent so I did ask him changed and he kept saying its new trend and will look better but we didn't want so we had him change. Also he installed cheap aluminum railing so he will save some cost on Glass railing per square feet.
On material side Fence4you suppose to install a PVC material but he install composite wood without our acknowledgement which is cheaper then PVC.
After all this I didn't paid him his last deposit of 2000 and ask him to install PVC and take balance so he went to Dixon collection and put a collection of $10000 on me.
I did provided all the payment proof to collection agency and i have ask them to provide a math for this $10000 collection but they no providing any details.
Now its been few months only and one piller on deck is started to lean on side so I called Toronca.ca to fix the issue and this person said that Fence4you didn't do the job as per city code. Toronca.ca going to fix this deck as per city code and it will cost me another 4000 with city permit.
Fence4you is a scammer and never hire this guy for any of your project otherwise you will end up in a same situation.
