Caller identified herself as Brooke from Helping Hands and then asked if I could hear her. Even though I am aware of this scam I wasn't thinking of it when I replied "yes." Caller went on to offer me information regarding a cruise and when I cut her off to tell her I was not interested she hung up.

The caller identified himself with "Helping Hands" & asked if I'd be interested in a free cruise. He then proceeded to ask, "Can you hear me okay?" which leads me to believe this was a scam.

Caller said they were offering a vacation to the Bahamas via Cruise ship to fill empty cabins and gain better reviews, there would be a port fee per person,

At that point I told the man I had no wish to go on a cruise and that they could please stop calling me - there had been at least one earlier attempt. If I had said yes, I know they would have asked for credit card info to pay for the "Fees"
