Said I qualified for a Bahamas cruise for free, all I had to do was provide info online if I enjoyed the cruise afterwards. And they "just".needed a major credit card to reserve my spot.

Called me using several spoofed local phone numbers, stating they're from "Helping Hands". Asked "Can you hear me?" and offered a cruise on Royal Seas Cruise Lines.

I received a call on my cell phone from a number listed as "Hatboro, PA" - my town. I answered thinking it might be from the elementary school. The caller said, "Hi this is Joe from Helping Hands. Can you hear me okay?" As soon as I said "Yes," they hung up. I suspect they may be trying to use it to get credit or purchase authorization for something. I haven't lost money yet but will be verifying all credit card transaction and credit reports.

Caller identified herself as Brooke from Helping Hands and then asked if I could hear her. Even though I am aware of this scam I wasn't thinking of it when I replied "yes." Caller went on to offer me information regarding a cruise and when I cut her off to tell her I was not interested she hung up.

"This call is being recorded I'm calling from helping hands" voice cut out then I heard "can you hear me" said yes and immediately hung up remembering I heard on the news about "yes" phone scam. Number that call me 5862291648

The caller identified himself with "Helping Hands" & asked if I'd be interested in a free cruise. He then proceeded to ask, "Can you hear me okay?" which leads me to believe this was a scam.

Caller said they were offering a vacation to the Bahamas via Cruise ship to fill empty cabins and gain better reviews, there would be a port fee per person,

At that point I told the man I had no wish to go on a cruise and that they could please stop calling me - there had been at least one earlier attempt. If I had said yes, I know they would have asked for credit card info to pay for the "Fees"
