I purchased a blouse that looked significantly different than what was purchased and the described “ luxury material” is low quality polyester. Although they have a return policy advertised the company instead offered me another product but wants me to pay for shipping from China and when again requested a refund their solution is a 20% refund or I can ship the item to China at my own expense and then after they receive it only then can I get a refund, which I suspect will never happen.

This company pretends to have been in business for over 50 years and is a family owned company. The dress I ordered and the dress I received do not look anything like. It’s poorly made, the sleeves and shoulders are uneven, the stitching is terrible, and the fabric is even worse. I contacted their customer service. They offered me a 20% refund, which I refused and asked for a full refund. They then said they would offer 50% and I can keep the item, which I have zero interest in. The only way that they will give me a refund is if I pay $30 to send it back to China when I ordered it they did not say that it would be coming from China. I only found that out when I received an email that my order was shipping from there.

Harper & Lane advertises attractive & quality goods. I bought a pair of shoes for $62. When they arrived, they are very low quality plastic with floppy straps- absolutely not like what was pictured. The company has a return & refund policy on their website, but does not follow it. They simply email the same message about exchanging your item, while you would have to pay additional shipping to do so. Their company is a total scam.
