I saw job posting and applied. I went through an interview process and was hired. I was told their main location was in Germany and they had locations in the U.S. and would be expanding to Jefferson City, Missouri. When I researched online, the plant they claimed to be in Texas actually had a website. They had me fill out a W-4 and an I-9 to start the orientation process. They sent me a check to purchase equipment. The check was counterfeit. They now have my social security number.

Applied for a Job from Linkedin and received a text from the Number listed for an interview and an email from an Isabelle H, was then turned over to a Jakob Frenzl from H-TEC to have an interview from Telegram. Answered a few questions and asked for more clarification to why this wasn't done via Zoom or through another means of Interview. Got the job offer and was sent paperwork to fill out (Haven't filled out for obvious reason). I am supposed to receive a check for "Purchasing Equipment" and to report to a fraudulent local office that doesn't exist. Have some email correspondence as evidence and also going to take screenshots of the convo as well so people know what to expect when dealing with a business scammer.
