He said he ordered the material from Kitchen cabinets company and he provided 3D designs from Kitchen cabinetry (http://www.centercabinetry.com/, which is located at 3680 VICTORIA PARK AVE. UNIT 7
TORONTO. ON. M2H3K1)
After that I also called the Kitchen cabinet company about the order then they confirmed that he took 3D designs and he didn't show-up for payments.
The contractor did framing in the basement and after that he didn't show up. he didn't answer the calls and he said he ordered flooring and tiles and also he lied that electrical inspection done and will receive the email from Electrical Inspector.
But disappeared half way with the rest of the money and left my house in a mess. I tried contacting the contractor every day, but he avoided all my calls and sometimes replied with a message. I was out a couple thousand dollars. I even had a contract written up document. He was working at one of our friend house and I got good reference from them, they we referred to our friend. At the end he took money from all of us and ran away. He took money from my friend to order material and he didn't even go to their house.
I found all these very late. I went to the police, and they did nothing. They said the only thing I could do is go to small claims court, and that didn't guarantee anything. I lost everything.
I am attaching his driving license, picture, vehicles his use for the work. Hoping this article will help someone else.
And atleast it will help other to not to hire this guy and lose the money.
Its our hard worked money and it took sometime to digest this incident.
Now we have to pay the money again to someone as he kept everything in the middle.
