I saw a message on the app NEXTDOOR from GoodwillPlc.org stating that there office was expanding and they needed to fill positions. I emailed the person the person at [email protected] and they gave me a code for Microsoft teams. I was told I was going to be given an intake interview and that my camera would not be needed at this time. I completed the intake interview and I was expecting to be provided a time and day to met with a person for a physical interview. What I was told was that I was hired and then they began telling me about the position. I asked for more details like the time and day the training would begin and thats is when they told me that they would be sending me all of the materials I would need for my "mini office" but I would have to provide them with a deposit of $200-$300 for them to send the equipment and software. That was an immediate red flag for me. I declined to move forward and reported them to NEXTDOOR. I HAVE MULTIPLE SCREENSHOTS.
