Type of a scam Debt Collections

I had a debt with a charged off bank account that was 6 years old. All of the sudden I started getting bombarded with debt collectors from several different area codes. I spoke with one , that we will refer to as Bob. ( who may also be a scam, I am still trying to find out) Bob tells me I will be charged with breach of contract, all of my bank accounts will be closed , I will not be able to have a checking acct for 10 years etc . I set up 2 payment arraingements for a total of 1005.00. Which they take. and send me a letter stating this account is paid in full, I have a 0 balance and case is closed. In the mean time I am still getting SEVERAL calls from 2 different companys wanting money for this account. Goldman and Associates called my work, my ex husband, my ex father in law etc. everytime I called them back they told me a different story of why my case had not been " closed " and assured me it would be taken care of, and to disregard any other calls. ....2 weeks later..still getting calls. I never get the same person twice. So this time I get Racheal Clark who is the " supervisor" . Long story short...she tells me that i have been scammed by " BOB" and that If i pay her 200.00 she will act as my legal liason and immediately stop further charges .. I say I dont have 200.00 she immediately says ok..50.00. Scared and confused I agreed to the 50.00 she then tells me not to ever contact ' Bob " again, dispute my payments with Bob and when I get my money back from them ( through the bank ) call her and pay the bill. She would email me an authorization form to sign so she could charge the 50..00. I never signed the paper and the 50.00 was debited anyway. The next day I call Bob...tell them the story..they immediately call Rachael , who states they have no attourney there to speak with them and hangs up on them. ( Bob ). Bob issued a cease and desist order against them. Now trying to get 50.00 back.
