They approached me online by email for a job. I wasn’t interested at first but I was interested in working from home so I decided to give it a try. They sent all the forms and things that were necessary for a job. There wasn’t really any formal interview but they sent training videos and everything so it seemed legitimate. Until it’s time to get paid then everything falls apart. Looking back at it I should've seen the signs but I was in a desperate time of change in my life and was completely taken advantage of. They made me fill out a W2 and everything.

They promise a high salary, but you never can get anyone on the phone

I was contacted by someone that sounded like they were from the Philippines regarding my application to offer me a job position of Inspection Specialist. I couldn't recall if I applied for anything of the sort. They stated the job would pay $4200/month plus $20 bonus for each package that was sent off within a 24-hour timeframe. I was sent packages to inspect for damage and confirming are the correct items. I then ship them off through the designated carrier. Everything is done through an employee portal where it lists the pay, bonus amount, and payment date. A big issue I'm now facing is receiving several packages that have the incorrect products and is taking over 2 weeks to rectify the issue.

I couldn’t remember whether or not I had did an application for this company but of course I only released my ID and lost $6. It wasn’t until someone asked me where I did the application and I tried to find it online did I stumble upon a couple of ScamPulse.com complaints.

I've been out of work about a year and been putting in applications all over online and received a call about employment. The job was to inspect packages and ship them out. Come to find out it was a scam to ship things that were bought with stolen cards or stolen card numbers. I find out when police and customs officers showed up at my home, luckily I kept all correspondence between me and the scam company

They contacted me via email about a job I had applied for on Indeed. I had been on Indeed so it did not really strike me as odd. What did make it odd was I could not find the job I had apparently applied for with them. It became more alarming when I received a package of an item that claimed to be a name brand item worth thousands of dollars and it was not even packaged well and was messed up. I had reached out to the so called company and asked them to return the items as I do not feel comfortable with what is clearly counterfeit items or just junk.

- Billings, MT, USA • Jun 12, 2026

I was contacted about a job I applied for on indeed, the lady Heather Haines called me and offered me a package specialist job where I would be getting paid to inspect and ship packages. I signed up and I was sent a pair of diamond earrings a few days later. I started to get suspicious after I started getting a bunch of weird phone calls from them rushing me to send the package! I started to feel weird so I did a deep dive into the company and got weird scam vibes.

- Covington, GA, USA • Jun 11, 2026

It was my photo id a scammer called asking if I was still interested in the position and upon that I said yes they gave me all the details sounded pretty professional. They sent me over an email with a contract sign filled out all the information after that they had me take a picture of my photo ID front and back and send it over and upon completion she said the supervisor would reach out to me because I don’t work on the weekend so it would be Monday to get more details and then she asked how would you like to get paid? I said direct deposit but gave her no banking information in the call ended.

- West Jordan, UT, USA • Jun 09, 2026

I received a call for a job offer as an inspector. They send me packages and I sort through the items and make sure the items do not have any damages. I print out a label and ship it through a carrier. USPS, UPS or FEDEX. I was to fill out their application and wait for a "supervisor" to contact me. Pay is 4,200 a month regardless if I sent out packages or not. I immediately started to Google the company.

- Crowley, TX, USA • Jun 08, 2026

They asked for personal information and had me thinking I had a job, took my money, how do I get them to stop calling me

- Compton, CA, USA • Jun 05, 2026

I received a phone call from the number listed about a job offer. I called back and she “interviewed” me as if it was a real job. I was a bit skeptical because I did not remember applying to the role but it didn’t seem too suspicious considering I’ve been applying to all different jobs and roles. What made it clear that the role may not be real was the instant job offer and the amount of money I would receive in a month. I played along until I could do my own research and found out that it was indeed a scam. She emailed me my job offer and it went straight to the scam likely folder which made it even more noticeable that it was a scam. I'm glad I listened to myself before sending any of my information out to these scam artists.

Sent me an email saying my application was accepted, I don't remember applying, to their company and all I had to do was give them a call and send a picture of my ID to be hired.

- Laredo, TX, USA • May 30, 2026

Scammer called about a job interview regarding inspection specialist for a company freight metro. I have been applying for several jobs online that I thought it was legit. They asked me to fill out a contract and a picture of my drivers license and a selfie holding my ID. Unfortunately I did complete the process. They said i would receive packages at home and then i needed to inspect them and ship them back out. After doing some research online I saw that it was a scam.
