I was contacted via email from a company called Franchise Capital, LLC about a remote position with their company as a Procurement Manager. I filled out the application that was provided to me by this email. I was than contacted and asked to complete a questionnaire. Shortly after I sent the questionnaire back, I received another email offering me a position. I was sent and completed all of the "Onboarding" paperwork, complete with my personal and some banking information. (Actually, I accidentally gave them the wrong account info). I was asked to open an account, also online, through a Southside Bank, so that they could send me a check to purchase a computer. (Luckily, I did not do this). That was the last that I heard from them. No phone number to contact them and no contact name. I looked up the company's website and there is no phone number to contact them. Im just glad I gave them the wrong banking info, but unfortunately they do have my personal information.
