FOUNTAIN TRUST GRANT CLAIM Reports & Reviews (1)

I first received a text message from 8633497909 with 5 other recipients. it stated that my cell digit had randomly been chosen for a grant payment of $150,000 and had a link to www.fountaingrantclaim.com in it (see attached). I clicked on the link and wen to the website and at first glance it seemed legit to me. Maybe it was because it was early in the morning or the pure desperation to be saved from my financial hardship but I believed it because of the testimonials and the site seemed pretty official, like I said at first glance. So they ask you to write a small testimonial about what you would use the money for, I said school. Then I was emailed by [email protected] (Martin Stommer, Founder and CEO) asking for my personal information and of course banking information. Again, out of desperation that this could be real, I provided my address, driver's license, account number, routing number, phone number and email. I then got a text message from (310) 733-7363 (Claim Agent Richard Marron) asking me if I had heard from support yet and I said yes. He told me to wait for feedback. I then got another email from [email protected] (Martin Stommer, Founder and CEO) saying that the grand funds were approved and that I would need to give then $780 in order for the grant to be processed. That was a big red flag because why would I need to pay you anything before I receive funds that were offered to me, right? I didn't respond to it. I went to the website and saw and the misspelled words, improper grammar, I began to google image search the board members and testimonials on the site and realized they were both stock photos and not who they claim to be. I tried calling the phone numbers and received a voicemail every time. So Monday morning comes and I get a text message from (310) 733-7363 (Claim Agent Richard Marron) saying Good Morning, how are you?? Very informal. I was then asked if I got the approval email from management and I replied yes that I did and sent a screen shot and asked what's next. He says that I would need to give then $780 in order for the grant to be processed again and then calls me. I could not understand a word the person on the phone was saying to me and there was a baby crying in the background. I told him I'll pass on the grant. He sends another text saying that once I pay the $780 transfer charge, the grant will be in my account in 8 hours. I let him know through that I realized this is a scam and told him the photos and testimonials are fake, there are so many misspelled words and improper grammar and I even realized that the testimonial check a woman w[censored]ding was a Powerball winner where there photoshopped the Fountain Grant Claim into the from section. I told them they were evil for taking advantage of vulnerable people who are struggling in this recession. I didn't see anything online about it being a scam so maybe that means its fairly new but I don't want them to get anyone else like this. It was actually really sloppy and anyone can make a website so it looked pretty real.
