Work-from-home package handler scam with unpaid salary
* False Promises: The operation promised a fixed monthly salary (such as $4,400) plus performance bonuses, leveraging fake professionalism and official-looking state registration documents to appear legitimate.
* The Trap: The victim completed a full month of continuous work and fulfilled all shipping duties. However, when payment day arrived, the scammers repeatedly delayed the transfer, claimed payments were "approved," and ultimately cut off communication or refused to pay once the work was complete.
* Red Flags: The operation relied on fake employer credentials, deceptive shipping schemes (often involving reshipping stolen goods), and delayed payment tactics specifically designed to extract free labor before vanishing.
