I wanted to look at the Affordable Care Act options for health insurance. I googled "obama care 2024" and clicked on the top link which led me to the website for obamacare.org. I filled out my name, zip, email, and phone number. Immediately someone called and I answered. The guy was being really pushy and explaining the coverage options to me. I kept asking to see things in writing and he kept saying that I would have to pay over $400 before I could see a summary of my benefits. He kept saying that he's been working there for 6 years and that I could trust him. I told him I didn't want to pay over the phone on an incoming call and he got really impatient and kept asking for my card number. I hung up and have since received 3 additional phone calls from different numbers trying to get me to pay for an insurance plan over the phone.
