Basic deception tactics. Letter from Fenix Protect says home warranty coverage is expiring and they have been trying to contact me. They use the correct name of our mortgage lender. Failure to call may result in loss of coverage. Registration required, etc. etc. Clearly a scam. We have no home warranty coverage.

- Midlothian, VA, USA • Apr 10, 2026

I was sent a letter from Fenix Protect (phone: (833) 732-3951) saying they had been trying to contact me regarding the property's (my address) home warranty, secured by Prosperity MTG. It stated failure to call by April 17 may result in a lapse in coverage. It also stated that based on our mortgage lender's requirements for our current loan that we may be required to have a home warranty. In the small print at the bottom of the letter it states that Fenix Protect is not affiliated with our current mortgage holder. Our home does not have a mortgage, so we don't have a mortgage holder. We have never had a home warranty with this company or any other. This letter seems like a scam. It is not only misleading, but it is offensive and wrong. They should be fined and stopped from ever sending this type letter out to the public ever again.

Received a notice from Fenix Protect regarding my property home warranty with my secured bank IndyMac Bank FSB but my home loan left that company over 10 + years ago. Plus I have an outside Home Warranty Coverage and it's not with IndyMac Bank not Fenix Protect that was listed on the mailed letter

- Fremont, OH, USA • Mar 25, 2026

Received a mailer titled "Final Notice: Immediate Response Needed" with personal information about my street address and mortgage lender, demanding I call and pay for a home warranty. The letter alluded that my lender may cancel my loan without paying for said warranty.

I received a "notice" in the mail from Fenix Protect stating that I needed to call them regarding my new (2026) vehicle. I had to call them to verify that my car is under warranty. The letter provided no company name, return address, or any identifying information. The letter identified me, my address and the year and vehicle model I had purchased. The letter implies in many sentences, that I am not covered unless I call them.

Received letter in the mail like others have reported. Letter from Fenix Protect states Final Notice: Immediate Response Needed and goes on to say it is in regards to property's home warranty secured by **lender's name**. Small print at bottom of letter states FENIX PROTECT is not affiliated with your current mortgage holder. Home Warranty Administered by Warranty Global Group.

Google search shows that FENIX PROTECT only offers extended car warranties, not home warranties. Google search shows that Warranty Global Group does offer home warranties and is being sued by FNMA. It appears they are doing business as Global Home USA and when I go to their website, it sets off an alert with my antivirus. I can't find any way to contact the company responsible for sending the letter to ask to be removed from the mailing list.

It was exactly as someone else reported (and happened to me, too, as well as to an elderly friend). Letter arrives from Fenix Protect with FINAL NOTICE: Immediate response needed. They reference our mortgage company and say they have been trying to contact me and have not been able to, and if we don't contact them by Feb 18, it may result in a lapse of coverage and they reserve the right to revoke our eligibility. They make it sound like our mortgage lender requires this coverage. It is ABSOLUTELY deceptive advertising, especially to elderly people who are panicked about the letter. The letter all three of us received was basically identical. They need to be stopped!

I have ran into some personal issues and have been trying to cancel each time they call and I put them off and they try to offer different prices. They say that I'm a 1000 in what gets me is if I put in all this money why do I have to pay a deductible of a 100 to get something fixed.

I recently moved to a new city and changed my title and my driver's license. Those mails came with my new car title from DMV and it did scare me at first as it mailed so many fine prints with FINAL NOTICE on them. Then finally I located Fenix Protect in a letter and got the information above from other people who got those letters as well. Seriously, how can we stop a company like Fenix Protect? I hope this company will die as soon as possible.

Same as everybody else - fake final notice intended to frighten the gullible out of their money. In a country obsessed with laws, how is this legal? Oh wait, I remember, nobody cares about consumers only the corporation s that buy the lawmakers. Duh. Hashtag land of the free.

I sell wheelchair accessible vehicles in the State of Texas. First, I'm super upset that the DMV allows these folks access to customer information. There should be a way to protect this information and second of all, my clients are disabled and when they get these scamming letters in the mail, the first person they call is ME because they trusted me with their purchase. I will fight for them like a pit bull so watch out Fenix, I'm coming after you!

Bought a used Focus ST from a dealership and then about a month later i get a letter from them saying its my final notice to get my warranty or something. Because i had purchased a warranty from Ford i assumed at first it was in reference to that Which is what they're hoping you'll assume i guess, because calling up the dealership confirmed this was not from them and at the bottom it says in fine print that this is actually from "Fenix Protect".

Several items -
1 - Never have I ever owned a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse LTX
2 - They addressed the notice to my current address under my past married name which I have not used in 6 years.
3 - Fine print at the bottom of the notice states they are not affiliated with any auto dealer or manufacturer.
Question:
How do they get our information? How is this legal? How can it be stopped?

Total scam! I just bought a used 2020 Jeep Gladiator from a local dealership WITH a transferable warranty (which will extend through 2026). I’m getting quasi-official looking mailings with the Jeep logo on them saying it’s my “final notice” to extend my warranty. I already knew this was a scam, as Chrysler and their affiliates (including Jeep) automatically transfer the warranty on purchase. Despite that, I read the thing just to see who was trying to scam me. Despite the quasi-official look of these letters, the fine print lists Fenix Protect as the company, and that they are not affiliated with any manufacturer. As this is in fine print, hidden near the bottom, I thought I’d write this review to help protect others. This company is a scammer. They should be sued by the auto manufacturers due to Fenix Protect sending misleading mailings made to look like official documents from the manufacturer! It’s wrong, and highly deceptive...

Like others who have reported Fenix Protect, I recently purchased a new car with an extended dealer warranty and got an unsolicited offer for an extended warranty within months of the purchase. I got a quasi-official letter with Chrysler on the letterhead with PLEASE CALL IMMEDIATELY warnings, and although it does have a small print disclaimer on the bottom, this is deceptive advertising at best. Chrysler should sue them for abuse of their trademark.

Unfortunately, this isn't the only scam extended warranty company to contact me after my purchase, several different bottom feeders have surfaced with these scams.

I just registered with Texas DMV and receive a letter in the mail from "Fenix Protect." No return address. Stamp says permit # 699, Zip Code 92799. The letter states: "Final Notice," "Final Attempt to Notify," "This letter is to inform you: That if your factory warranty has expired, you will be Financially Liable for all repairs. Our records indicate that you have tno contacted us to get your service contract up-to-date." "Extremely urgent and time sensitive - this is not a bill." It has the phone number 1-800-674-2963 saying "Please Call Immediately."

This is designed to create fear and a sense of urgency. They are not tied to my vehicle's company. This advertising is to hook people.
