I was asked my name and age and what type of car I drove. James Smith asked if he could put decals for an energy drink on my car and he would pay me $700 a month.

I received a text message from a phone number I was not familiar with, it was of a hand holding a wine bottle. I had a weird feeling about it and therefore didn’t respond. A couple of weeks later I received another text (from a different number) with a similar picture. I ignored this message as well and googled whether this was a scam.

Received a txt message stating that $983.00 was sent to 'Danny Hill' from my Pay Pal account. First: I don't have a pay pal account and NEVER has because it's about moving funds (dollars) on a cell or computer. Second: I don't know anyone named ' Danny Hill ' who supposedly requested this transaction. Third: Thus is the second attempt at trying to scam me. The 1st time it was similar a txt msg sent saying a dollar amount was going to Amazon for a package that was delivered. I think BBC needs to do something about this scam/fraud. Many hardworking and innocent people are being stolen from. People have no other ways to protect themselves from these thieves and pirates outside of organizations such as BBC. Please help.

I have no unaccounted for packages and have not clicked the link. The texts also address me by my full name. This is a scam, please do not click or provide any personal/payment info.
