I am a Facebook friend to a girl names Sara Mooney dont know personally shes married and has small kids..She was advertising purebread yorkies for sale and they were free only a rehoming fee 200 deposit and other 100 when picked up puppy..Thank god i had a mutual friend of hers and that mutual friend said she was friends with his mother and sister and he said shes scamming people..Why facebook allows this but this is wrong..Someone sent her money lastnight and she sent it to me but immediately deleted it..I have the phony cash app info and her cell number and know where she works thanks to our mutual friend..People dont do enough about scammers i was once scammed got all their information and couldnt even press charges on him and he got away scott free THIS IS NOT RIGHT THIS IS FRAUD SINCE WHEN WAS THIS NOT A CRIME????..

I order a shelving unit off of facebook for $49. I emailed twice inquiring about delivery with no response. Then after 16 days a pair of earmuffs arrived at my home with the same tracking number as the shelving unit. I emailed again requesting a refund and still have heard nothing.

I applied for a remote position with this Elevance Health company and they “hired” me. I was then sent a check to deposit so that I could purchase my “working materials” (equipment; computer, printer, etc.). Then after depositing the check, I was instructed to send $400.00 to two different “vendors” to get the equipment necessary to do my job. I realized that this may be a scam and asked for them to send my money back. They then sent me a “code” that was for Facebook and told me that they would send my money back if I sent them a $50 iTunes card. I reported this scam to my bank but I am afraid that Zelle will not refund my money. I am a nursing student and now my bank account is overdrawn $800. I have no money. I am so sickened that this scammer was able to fool me. I googled the company and the bank that the check was issued from and they both seemed legitimate. I was really fooled.

Scam was a 2-person job. The accomplice which was supposed to be a friend of mentioned that I one a lottery like she did. Was introduced to the Agent. Agent verified that I had won and that I would need to pay the taxes before I would receive the winnings.

Gave personal information to set up bank account. Bank account was set up using Chase Bank. Received Checks in the mail to use for paying taxes. Was told how much to deposit and take out for the taxes and to use gift cards to pay for the takes.

Realized about a week later that the checks I used to deposit were counterfeit and return from the banks.

Now I have to pay the banks back what the lost..

A person on Facebook named Julia Li scammed me for $350,000.00. Doing trading investments with a website called https://pc.holderpro.net/index. is a fake platform that has high returns.

I found this shop on Facebook and ordered shoes and a pair of boots. Sale said by one get one. I ordered them and they took my funds. I received an email from Brands-Official with an order number and they were preparing my order. Nothing after that for 2 weeks so I responded to the email asking about my order. I received another email stating delay and they would be shipped right away. Two weeks later I emailed again and received another response delayed and working on it. Now two weeks later I emailed again and still nothing. Tried the website again from the email and it is no longer active

This scammer used Facebook Marketplace to advertise a home for rent in Fishers, IN. He claims to be a private owner of the property under the name Edwin Miller. However, upon arriving to the property there were signs and fliers posted on the house stating that the renter of this property is through American Homes 4 Rent and does not advertise via Craigslist or Facebook. We (my daughter and I) contacted the alleged owner, trying to get more information from him. He claimed he was on his way to the location, but upon further questioning said that we would be doing a self-tour. He then called me repeatedly from the provided number, which indicated he was from Michigan. I did not answer. He insisted that he was a private owner when asked what company he was representing. Eventually, I informed him that I knew he was a scammer and had reported him to Facebook and the police. There is only room to submit one file, but we have record of the conversations held via email, text, and Facebook messenger, as well as the signs outside the house and a picture of the house. We also can provide links to his personal Facebook account and the listing provided that he doesn’t delete them. We are more than happy to provide those.

I ordered a shirt in a size 5XL. The shirt arrived and is nowhere near a 5XL. I emailed the company and asked for instructions on returning the item for a full refund. They refuse to assist and are ignoring my refund request.

Stated they was a government agency assisted in loan. It was stated that the IRS required 10% payment and loan will be distributed. I sent the 600 for 60, 000, and never heard anything else

I ordered Holy Night Outdoor Christmas Nativity Set-White/Large on October 30, 2022 for 78.20 through Paypal. I received the set on January 11, 2023. The set is 19.5 inches by 12 inches. Originally I received shipping notices that it was coming from Spain and was in the US by Dec. 1. Then suddenly I received notice that it was shipping from China on Dec. 15. I asked for my money back but was told I couldn't since it was in transit.

I saw an add on Facebook about this weight loss product. I sent in my information including my debit card information. I received an email with a receipt of the product I purchased. after 3 weeks, I have not received my product and I tried to reach out to the company but they do not provide an email address or phone number to contact them.

Air duct cleaning was advertised on Facebook. They told me I would receive professional service that would last 60-90 minutes to clean all the ducts in my 2 story home. When the 2 people showed up- they were here for less than 30 minutes. I was also told it was Revolution Duct Cleaning- but when they got here it was Atlas Duct cleaning. I was told I would receive photos and documents- they didn't do that either. When they asked for payment, they told me it was much higher than what the quote from Sophie Driver was- when I questioned them, they said I was given a "discount". When I messaged the initial contact back via Facebook messenger- she stopped replying all together. I paid $258.
