They acted as though they were a friend of mine on facebook and were in need of a phone number to send me a code to unlock their account. As a result of giving my phone number the next thing I new the hacker was attempting to take money from my facebook account in multiple transactions. My bank is disputing the first three transactions and the remainder were block by the bank. After that happened I realized my facebook password, email and phone number on my account had been compromised. This happened Sunday evening and I still cannot access my facebook account. I've tried all of the suggested methods even uploading my id. I don't know how the other person can have access to my account with having valid id. Please help.

I saw that I could order a pallet of electronics for about $** on a Facebook ad. I thought that'd be great for Christmas presents.

So I ordered two pallets.

I waited for about a month and a half. Then, I looked up all the delivery info I could find on it and it stated that it had already been delivered. When I looked at where it has been delivered, it wasn't even our house. It was at a house about a mile away. I went to that house and asked if any pallets had been delivered there. They said, no.

I went through several emails back and forth with the company to no avail. They refused to give a refund saying that it has been delivered. Three times, I was told to go to the local post office to check. I did twice. However, the local post office, the last time, said that they don't deliver pallets. And when I showed them the information that I had showing the companies info and where it showed it was delivered to, they said that it looked fraudulent. They don't deal with pallets.

Factor-Stone refused to make it right. They didn't even offer a small percentage refund.

My mom ended up buying from a pallet place for Christmas, also, through Facebook.

She didn't receive her order, either. I felt bad, because had I known she was going to do that, I would've told her not to. But, she wanted to give her grandchildren nice gifts for Christmas. She knew they'd all like electronics.

Truly disappointed.

I scrolled through Facebook and found an ad that said win a $500 Costco card just pay $**** shipping and handling. So I clicked on it, and I had to answer a few questions, play a quick game, choose the right slot where it says a $500 Costco card, pay shipping handling and then it comes to you in the mail.

I read the terms of the agreement before paying $**** for shipping the card to me, which it said I won. But it was confusing because it talked about subscriptions and other things. It didn't really show anything of what the ad was talking about. So I called the company with the number it gave me and he made it very clear that $**** was only for a chance to win the card or a gadgets. And that it was actually a subscription. I remembered that on the terms it said something about after 7 days they will charge your account $***. So I told the man I wanted it canceled immediately.

I also told them that what the company was doing was fraudulent because anybody can set up a chance to win just pay me a little bit of money. I could even do that and not give anything away and it would be a total scam! I told him that what the company was doing was a scam.

I was in a group on Facebook. A collective of basset hound dog enthusiasts, owners, and breeders. I finally decided I would see who had what I was looking for to purchase for a puppy.

The admin of the group “Adele Dorine” messaged me said she had 3 females available. Sent me pictures of the puppies. I picked the one I was interested in, and she said it would be $700 with a $350 deposit. Which was normal when buying out of the city you live in to reserve a pup. I told her I could come up next day to get puppy and pay remain balance.

She messaged me a little while later stating extra costs occurred and wanted another $200. But would go towards the cost of the puppy no extra in final cost of the agreed upon $700.

I paid her through zelle. And the email which included a name that didn’t match hers. I started questioning, wanting FaceTime to see puppy and talk with her about puppy and excuses were made, she finally got mad when I wouldn’t send her the remaining balance before seeing/picking up puppy. She accused ME of being untrustworthy and she’s not selling to anyone untrustworthy. Said she would refund $ when pup was sold, and then immediately blocked me on messenger and on the basset group.

Needless to say I will never see that $550 again, and lesson learned frauds everywhere even in what you might think is an innocent group. Beware I’m sure she will use a different name, different groups and possibly a different address.

I ordered an ice machine and a gun case from a website on Facebook. It was coming from China. After several weeks of waiting, I never received any packages. I have cameras all around the house. The two packages were never delivered. I have left many emails and they just say we can’t help you. Contact your local postal office to see if they have it! I can reassure you that I never ever received them. And I tried to contact support for cash app and they denied my claim! I have all the emails from this company in China. I have asked for my money back and they refuse to give me my money back. Totaling to around $70.00 for both items!

There is a fake passport with a photo, which is photoshopped, of Mark Harmon. The other link I have is:

https://facebook.com/profile.php?id=100071371577902.  The scammer continues to fake my grandmother into sending him money. It has even caused her a divorce. He tries to keep her away from the family and has her bank info, social security card, everything. She then thought she contacted the FBI to report this, but it turned out to be another scam and she sent them $60,000, which was her entire 401k savings,  She now she has no money left. The scammer drained her of her savings.

Went to Facebook to find a farm table person. Got in contact with Farmtable.Yuma owner Shane Gagliano and met up and gave him a 350 deposit and received a receipt from him. Weeks later he asked us to pick up the table and we paid an additional 250 but when brought home it was bigger and Shane came to pick it up the next day.
