it started yesterday 05/07/2025 i found a rental business page on facebook called Janice rentals ive been contacting with her on facebook messenger and her name is Janice Gary asking her if shes a private owner and said yes but the whole time there is no other person only her i was talking to she was asking me what zip code you are looking for a house to rent and i told her my zip code and send me the address to one of her rent property that is up for a rent. she told me to the application there is a fee of $100 to process my application for approval. so, she sends me options how to pay for this application. i pick apple pay she provided me the number to send the payment. i was about to send the money but found out i dont have enough in my apple pay and ask her again for another method payment and she offered chime and said it's her husband's account and she provided me the information and i send the $100 for the application fee. after, came back with contract demanding pay $950 before i get to see the property so i send the money to the same chime account. after, that came back with another demand contract pay $400 for utilities and i will get to tour the place. so, at this point i know im being scam with this person and the guy saying a lawyer. I even talked to this so call lawyer patrick on the phone and i was messaging with him through text too. I told Janice to cancel the tour and just refund my money-back but she said talk to her lawyer and i even told the lawyer the same thing and they still demanding to pay $400 for utilities so they can document it and get receipts and meet up with them at the property. i told janice i want to cancel the tour im requesting for a refund for the all the money i send to her husband's account. i send request to $william-gary-24 refund $1050 but up until now still nothing coming back i contacted lawyer patrick and janice gary they block my number straight to voicemail and also on her business messenger page she blocks me i go back to facebook to find the page but not coming up because i know for sure she blocked me.
