This man claimed he had years of experience in design and would produce the architectural plans and the permitting for a deck extension for our house on Camano Island. He came to my house even drank tea and used my restroom, asked for a 75% upfront payment via bank transfer which I paid thinking he was legitimate and since he was an elderly gentleman I didnt expect him to be a scam. He produced nothing, never responded to repeated phone calls and texts and had the audacity to tell me once he was affected and lost all his files and that I need to help him recover his files.
