Type of a scam Online Purchase
The senders address was listed as "Tracy Moore 2822 W 2nd St, Cleveland, OH 44143 ph # 918-684-0186 email address [email protected]". However, instead of delivering the pet the shipping company contacted me for various multiple unexpected expenses outlined below - I've listed the amount I paid first and an explanation of how it came about:
250$ - initial payment to sender via Zelle
300$ - sender apparently put the kitten in the wrong crate. for a crate for shipping
475$ - when the kitten was supposedly entering the state of NY for a license and permit
350$ - for insurance for delivery
250$ - for an anti relief vaccine
200$ - (originally asked for 2000$, I refused this because I didn't have this and the manager agreed to come down to 1200$ but someone made a mistake and thought it was 1000$, the sender chipped in and paid 800$, I paid 200$)
200$ - The next morning, the manager realizes the mistake and tells me I owe another 200$ to make it 1200$.
250$ - apparently now I owe an extra 850$ for accommodation, food and anti stress vaccine for the cat (originally asked for 850$ but didn't have that, so sender gave 600 and I pitched in 250$)
600$ - At this point, the company decides they will not refund any money unless all of it is online, wanting me to send them 600 (they'll refund the 800 separately to the sender)
Lastly, they can't get a hold of the sender so want me to send the last 800...
Now they are claiming if I don't make a final payment of 150$ they will not deliver the kitten or refund my money.
