I was called several times by people claiming to be Experian. They had my debt amount and my social security number, claiming that someone was trying to open a line of credit in my name. They wanted to know if it was me, and they told me no. They transferred me to several people and then they said that I have a lot of debt, and they needed me to give them $34K to pay it off. They said they were going to charge it to my account or my card, but I told them no because I pay my cards off every month. They kept insisting but I told them I didn't want to, and they hung up on me. They keep calling me back from different numbers but I know it's a scam.

I received a call from Mike Cooper who said he was with Experian the credit reporting bureau, and they said that they have me and my wife's credit card info, SSNs, address and phone numbers. They wanted me to verify all of our info because they said they would pay off our credit if we verified the info and stopped paying our cards. He then had me talk to Jack Wilson, a lawyer, to verify the same info and to get final approval to pay off my and my wife's accounts. I got a call later that said someone was trying to open a credit account in my name.

I get repeated robo calls from different numbers telling me that they can lower my interest rates to less than 4% on my credit cards. I told him that I have $70,000.00 on an Am Ex card and he said What is the expiration date on the American Express card starting with the number 3. I don't have an Am Ex. He harrassed me 3 times from different numbers, explaining he was from Expirian.
