THE PERSON WAS ROBBED AND ALL IDS WERE STOLLEN. I CALLED TO REPORT IT TO ALL THREE CREDIT BUREAUS TO PUT FREEZE ON HIS CREDIT. WHEN I CALLED A LADY NAMED AALYAH ANSWERED, "EXPERIAN MAY I HELP YOU?" I EXPLAINED THE SITUATION AND MAKE SURE I WAS DEALING WITH EXPERIAN ONE OF THE THREE CREDIT BUREAUS. I TOLD HER TO PUT ON A FREEZE ON ALL THREE BUREAUS AND ACCORDING TO HER THAT WAS POSSIBLE BUT I HAD TO PAY 1.OO WITH A CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD. I DID THEN SHE LOOKED UP THE CREDIT REPORT AND FIND PREVIOUS ADDRESSES AND TO TAKE THEM OUT ACCORDING TO HER THE THIEF COULD USE THEM TO GET CREDIT. FOR THAT SERVICE 99.00 WAS CHARGED. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND FOUND OUT TO PUT A FREEZE ON THE BUREAUS I HAD TO DO IT INDIVIDUALLY NOT ALL THREE WITH ONE CALL. FEW DAYS LATER I RECEIVED AN MAIL TELLING ME THE 24.95 WILL BE BILLED EVERY MONTH FROM MY ACCOUNT. I NEVER AGREED AND I WAS NOT INFORMED THIS. ON MAY 28,2025 AMOUNT OF 24.95 WAS TAKEN FROM MY BANK ACCOUNT. I REACHED OUT TO EXPERIAN TRANSUNION AND EQUIFAX AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT WHAT STANDARD SCORES CHARGE THEY DO IT FOR FREE. THERE WAS NO FREEZE ON THE REPORTS.
