These people have been calling me and my family. It is causing issues within my family and I am sick of the calls and the calls from my family about these calls. I have called them back and the phone sometimes doesn’t even ring. Also at these times I have lost my job and cannot pay them. I didn’t think that they were allowed to call you while this was happening. I am so disgusted and even if I had debit I cannot pay it while not receiving a paycheck. The calls need to stop and you need to stop calling my family and harassing everyone.

The entity uses caller id masking, which means that they are hiding their real telephone number. A robocall states your name then prompts you to press 1 or call (833) 781-8175 to be connected to a case manager. A month ago these robocalls were coming from Merit Exchange located at 2250 Oak road, Suite 137 in Snellville GA 30078. Complaints to the state attorney general forced them to change name and location, but they are still using the same robocall software and virtual number (833) 781-8175. The case managers try very hard to persuade you that you owe them money - when asked to provide supporting documentation they get very angry and berate you until you hang up. There is no reasoning with professional scammers, they just want you to pay them for the promise that they will stop harassing you. Yes that is extortion. So, I complained to the FCC, and they said they could not do nothing because debt collectors are protected, even if they are trying to collect money that you do not owe. I complained to other federal agencies, and they reported back that they could not locate the company.
