The site looks legit, page clicks act normal and descriptions aren’t suspicious. I ordered 1 set of 6 glasses and shipping was included. Payment was via PayPal. I paid $21.95 and the name associated was *** ***, not Evino or Evinostore. Thought he may be the owner and waited for order confirmation which never came. I emailed the store, noting my order number. Got no reply. Called store phone number on website but no one picked up and was no legit voicemail reply.
A day later asked for a refund and again got no reply. Waited a day then reported problem to PayPal, which didn’t do anything for a few days. Escalated the complaint with PayPal, mentioning after doing a little research I found the stores address is actually is at the Museum Tower condos in Chicago, the phone number isn’t listed anywhere except the fake store site, and the PayPal sellers name *** *** comes up nowhere associated with any business, and store itself is fake, has no reviews or legit history.
The sellers name is also fake- an alias. He is actually *** ***, goes under various alternate spellings, currently lives at: *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** He appears to be running an fake store scam, and may not be the only one.
