Ethos Recruiter Inc Reports & Reviews (3)

A recruiter from this company reached out to me about a paralegal position. She asked me to send my cover letter and resume as one document. I sent follow up questions to ask what format she wanted the document. Rather than a response I received a regurgitated email stating the same information as the first. I've tried emailing two more times and so far still no response.

We wanted to address the many inaccuracies and and inconsistences in this review above. This is a member of the team at Ethos Recruiter, Inc. First of all if you attended the first call it was explained in great detail that it was an information call to explain the position, the salary and the details of the role BEFORE scheduling a more detailed 1+ hour interview where you can ask questions and go into much more overall detail. Gregory also explained the reason behind why spending 10-15 minutes explaining a remote/virtual position rather than jumping right into a full blown interview made sense both for you and for us as a company. And yes he also mentioned that it was not a recording but rather muted (he even mentioned the exact date/time etc at that moment) to prove that it was not recorded because there will always be 1 individual that does not pay attention or wants to argue with our process. Lastly we have always been Ethos Recruiter and never "Ethos Recruiting" which is a totally different company all together focused on collegiate sports recruiting. If you do some quick research you can find Greg's profile and as well as other members of the Ethos team on LinkedIn and elsewhere. In closing we always state clearly that we are not "forcing" or "selling" anyone to interview or agree with our process that was also something mentioned and explained in detail during the 1st step. If you are not interested then you will never hear from us again...it is really that simple. Thanks for your interest and best of luck to all in their job search pursuits: Ethos Recruiter, Inc Management Team

I was emailed about a job opportunity. They scheduled a phone call and it sounded like a recording. The caller even said “most people think this is a recording.” The call was approximately 15 minutes and the entire call “Greg” was talking about the position and the company. Not one question was asked which sent up immediate red flags. And then he did not take questions after his speech and immediately hung up. Who does a phone interview and doesn’t ask questions? I searched their legit looking website and kept seeing small inconsistencies. The business was supposedly Ethos Recruiting, Inc. but the site was Ethos Recruiter. Nothing came up in any of the professional networking sites I use for either title. I checked LinkedIn for “Gregory Gerstner” the CEO and there is a profile but with very little activity. There is a career tools section on their site that asks for a discounted price of $196 for training. This person offers jobs to people and tells them they need to pay for training to start work for a position (and company) that doesn’t exist.
