On August 11, 2022, I reached out to Fernando Goldendoodle Puppies for the purchase of a Mini Goldendoodle advertised on their website named Clifford for $750.00 dollars plus $200.00 shipping cost. Fernando sent pictures and a video of Clifford. We agreed upon a hold fee of $500.00 and the remaining balance to be paid prior to the September 3, 2022 shipment date. All was well until I made my final payment of $450.00. This is when the problems began. Fernando told me he had not received the final payment of $450.00 via Zelle I sent on August 29, 2022. I advised Fernando that the money was sent to the same account the $500.00 was sent to. He then told me I should have called him before I sent the money and that the account was no longer in use. I told Fernando who changes banks within 3 weeks and what he was telling me did not make sense to me. I adamantly stated you received the money as Zelle and my bank (technical branch) stated the money was sent and received by you in the same account as the $500.00 dollars, and I was not sending him anymore money. On September 2, 2022, Fernando informed me I would receive an email from the shipping company.

On September 3, 2022, I received an email from Mainline Pet Transport Pet Courier Agency with a Shipment Notification Number 00109826181USA. In the email, Mainline was requesting me to pay a refundable crate feed rental feed to ship the puppy. I thought this was a strange request. The costs range from $1500.00 to $1000.00. So, I decided to check the ScamPulse.com website to see if this company was legitimate and if any complaints were filed. I found a recent report involving Mainline. I also called the address on their website because another business shared the same address and found that Mainline mailing address and phone number were not valid. I returned Mainline email requesting them to contact the breeder along with a screen shot of the most recent complaint filed with the BBB. I did not hear back from the breeder or courier and sadly to say, I did not receive my puppy.
