I have a voicemail of the message to which I responded. A man identifying himself as Lt. Kevin Pryce (Badge #1170) with Escambia County Sheriffs Department, Warrants and Citations Division requested that I contact him at 850-332-1242 ext. 134 for a missed civil duty court appearance. I called. The scam started with his statement that I had failed to appear for grand jury duty; which I responded that I had not received any notification. When he verified my address, it was incorrect and a previous, 20-year-old address. He then said that I still needed to properly remove the citations. I was told to choose whether I wanted to use the booking process or the voucher process. Both were explained. When he got to the part about an EFS for $990 that I needed to issue for the FTA Citation 170079-81 and the COC Citation 431256-EL, I asked who was the issuing judge which he responded Mark E. Walker and he insisted once again that I choose one of the two processes. I responded that I would contact my lawyer. He said if I terminated our conversation that someone would be to my address to arrest me.
