Englishbulldogsbreeds.com Reports & Reviews (1)

- Dayton, OH, USA

The company advertises English Bulldog puppies at an affordable price. The company's website is https://englishbulldogsbreeds.com. 1st red flag. The initial contact is made by submitting an interest form to the seller. The seller responds to the inquiry via email. Questions are asked to determine if a buyer is a good fit to purchase the bulldog puppy selected and determine if the state the bulldog puppy will reside in is a conducive environment for the bulldog puppy to live. 2nd red flag. From a scammer's perspective what state wouldn't be a conducive environment? Attached to the email are pictures of the desired bulldog puppy - picture of the available puppy shown on the website and a few more. How’s that to tug at your heart strings? The seller answers the questions and sends the form back to the seller via email. If you are approved - eye wink - to purchase a bulldog puppy a bill of sale/sales contract is sent to the buyer. 3rd red flag. From a scammer's perspective who wouldn't be approved? Once the seller and the buyer sign the contract the buyer requests $675 per puppy purchased via Apple Pay plus $75 per puppy for a shipping fee - total $750. 4th red flag. The deal sounded so good I thought I was purchasing 2 bulldog puppies. Yep, $1500. Once payment is received the buyer allegedly transports the puppy to a shipping facility. Next the shipping detention facility, in this case, USA Pet Services sends me an email requesting $996.00 dollars x 2 to rent a special crate to transport the puppies. 5th red flag. In the contract the buyer notes a shipping fee but mentions NOTHING about the buyer being responsible to pay a shipping company to transport the puppy. According to a representative of USA Pet Services the crate fee is 100% refundable to the receiver upon arrival. $996.00 is calculated as follows: $30 rental fee for ventilated electronic airline approved crate and $966 is a caution fee - 6th red flag - immediately refunded upon the arrival of the puppy. Realistically why would a consumer be required to pay a caution fee for a crate being rented that the consumer doesn't use - the shipping company does! If you chose to oblige, the money must be paid via Apple Pay, Zelle or BTC. 7th red flag. I need to note there is a legitimate USA Pet Services that I believe has absolutely NO affiliation with this scam! According to the email, the scammer that contacted me works in sub-division of USA Pet Services. I was given the website https://usapetservice.com to review the information about the company. 8th red flag. Fortunately, my bank recognized the transactions as fraudulent when I didn't! After going back in forth with the seller and the shipping detention facility, there are NO PUPPIES! Shame on me for falling for the scheme! My hope is that other people will see this and not fall for crooks that make a dishonest living taking from hard working responsible people. It’s a risk that nobody needs to deal with. At the end of the day if you want to purchase a bulldog puppy, any puppy for that matter, don’t purchase via the internet! Use a reputable breeder that lives in the area that you live in or pet store. This will allow you to speak with the breeder in person and see the puppies you are purchasing. I have to chalk this up to a lesson learned.
