Recieved empolyment Offer Letter from a company called Doval listed at 88 pine street NY, 27th floor, occompied by a W4 and a fraudulent check for 7800.00 for business supplies to work from home. The address used is listed for a company call Gilbane, which is a legitimate consruction company and not affiliated with any company called Doval. Doval seems to be a Fraudulent Name using another Companies information and is posting job listings on indeed and Linkedln.

I received an email via my school email about a job opportunity with a professor. I reached out to the number i was told. i was asked for my resume and an email outside of school email. i asked questions about the position. I was told school paid for expenses and that i would receive material. They kept stating that school will cover. They asked for my address and i denied and gave school address for pick up. I inquired about HR and how the process would go. THey said i would report to them weekly. They asked me if i wanted to be paid weekly or bi-weekly and what bank i had. i told them i use BOA. They asked if i recieved a check would i be able to upload it to my bank i said yes. they mentioned i would be mailed a check for the materials. I asked for the professors email they told me they were the professor and gave me the email. I emailed the professor with my address and the professor responded saying that whoever i was speaking to was a scam that she did not need a research assistant.
