In my school email, I received an email from chessa.latifi@careers-projecthope.org saying to be apart of their organization. The pay looked great and I put in my resume. They reached out and tole me to endorse a check to then send that money to local community workers and for disaster relief. Luckily my bank noticed that endorse on the back of the check and was spelled wrong and flagged it for fraud. I looked up on Project HOPE's website and they said they would not reach out to via email for jobs. They did not deposit the check and also I did not give any of my bank info.
