Averity Recruitment contacted me about a job with App Top-1. It is quickly become clear that this platform requests or pull money from your own Bitcoin to transfer to the app while vague directions about the "job" which is App Optimization Tasks. They continue to hassle you to pay more and more with the promise of "upgrades" and more earnings. THIS IS A SCAM. Please do not pay anything from your own account.

A friend of mine told me that her friend was a job recruiter who had lots of remote jobs she was recruiting for and to send her a text. I text the friend of a friend saying I was interested. I got a text the next day from a different number claiming to be with Averity Recruitments asking if I was interested in a remote position and if so, could they provide me with more info. I said yes. They explained that the job could be done from my mobile device from the comfort of my home and I could work full-time or part-time as an online promoter to help increase the market audience of a product/brand according to the demands of each merchant. They informed me that the hourly wage was $50 - $100 with a daily wage of $300 - $500 and then asked if I would like to receive more detail and training. I said yes. Then I was told I would be contacted via WhatsApp for training and to make sure I had WhatsApp. This was the first red flag, but I figured maybe in this new digital world, it might make sense.

I then was given a vague description on the job and asked to set up an account on their platform called App Top-1. I set up an account which did not ask me for an email address or phone number which is basically unheard of in account creation for anything, so that was red flag number 2. Oh and I realized at this point that no one had ever asked for my full name either. Red flag number 3. I started to research on google the names Averity and App Top-1 while doing the "training". There were a few people saying they liked working for Averity (meaning they have a few recruiters who like their job) but nothing about working for the companies people were recruited into and nothing for App Top-1. After being taken through a very basic training program that basically meant clicking two different buttons over and over, she asked me to complete the first set of tasks (clicking two buttons 40 times each) and let her know when I was done. When I was finished, my account showed that I had $79 and some change in my wallet. I let her know that I was finished and she told me she would now show me how to withdraw my earnings and then reset the account.

She then asked me if I had a crypto wallet. After telling her no, she told me to download Trust Wallet (which I verified was a legitimate crypto wallet). I asked her if I could use Coin Base instead and she said yes. I downloaded the Trust Wallet. The BIGGEST RED FLAG OF ALL came when she told me that I would need $100 in my App Top wallet in order to withdraw it so I would need to add those funds to make it $100 in order to be able to withdraw my earnings. I started to push back at this point. I told her that you don't get a job and then have to spend your own money in order to get paid. I told her I was willing to do more work to make the account wallet have $100 but she told me that I had to reset my account and become a VIP 2 status worker before I could reset my account and that would mean I had to withdraw my funds and that I needed to add the $20 and some change in order to do that. I told her I absolutely would not add my own funds to the App Top account and that's not how a job works. She then told me that I couldn't even withdraw my funds because my crypto wallet was empty. I expressed again how I believed this to be a scam (which there are numerous Reddit threads explaining scams by other company names with the exact same scheme) and that I was going to report them to the ScamPulse.com and she said to get back with her when I was ready to add the funds and she quit replying.
