Type of a scam Debt Collections

You will receive a call from a gentleman by the name of "Anthony". He will inform you that he is attempting to collect a debt and needs an updated address to serve you with papers. He will also inform you that you can prevent prosecution if you set up payments with the debt collector at 1(833) 968-1535 with the given reference number. When you call you will be assigned to case manager (Mine just so happen to be Jose). Jose will then negotiate and set up weekly pay arrangements and sent you an invoice to sign via adobe. The invoice will have the company name of Ellicott Recovery Group, but will state that payments will come out as PV SYSTEMS. I received a call every week stating that the payment was declined. When I called back, without asking me any of my information; they always knew who I was and had my "account" readily available. Not thinking much of it, I continued to make weekly calls for the payment to process for an additional 3 weeks. On the 4th week, I called to see why I hadn't received a call about them being unable to process the last payment. I was transferred to "Anthony" who aggressively answered and began telling me (before I could get a word in) that I failed to follow the payment contract and would have to pay the full amount of the debt. After several minutes, I was able to get a word in and explain to him; that I was calling to see why the automatic payment did not come out? Still in a hurry and with an aggressive tone, "Anthony" stated that he would send me a notice of final payment as he processed my last payment. It has been hours and I have yet, to receive a notice of final payment
