There were multiple phone numbers on the website (https://ellerandross.com/) yesterday 855-500-8496, 855-500-8497, and 855-550-8095 now there is only one and I have a voicemail from the 8496 number. It started on Monday with a phone call from 208-488-0638 leaving a vm that Aaron Hill from the "Idaho State Processing Unit" stating that they received paperwork from Eller & Ross that would be served and then referred to the 855-500-8496. When calling the 3 numbers above no one would answer but when I left a message a Steve Moore would call back and be extremely rude stating to pay an old Indigo card from 2018 for $1600 or get a garnishment. I started researching and found where I had paid it in full in 2021 and then I saw that the website says the company has been around since 1997 but then I saw that the website had been established in 2024. When I called and told them I knew they were scammers and that the guy that called from the 208 number is the same one at the top numbers he hung up.

An AI generated person left a message from the State Processing Unit. Stating I was being served for wage garnishment. Left a number for me to call back. This is a new scam found out the information on Reddit. I almost believed it. The caller had an American accent but my husband pointed out it was AI by the way the pauses were happening. Numerous people all

Over the country have received the same message with same call back number. Somany elderly people are going to fall for this. I hope we can get this out there. People are accustomed to deciding if it a scam by if the person is from a foreign country. This message was 100% American. I didn’t call them back so I have no idea what the person sounded like. A thread was created in Reddit , hopefully this will help some people but your average senior isn’t going to be on Reddit. If interested in more info search Eller and Ross in Reddit. Scammer called and left the following voicemail:

This message is intended for xxxxx my name is Scott James . I'm calling on behalf of the state processing unit by division . I do have a court summons here in the legal office of Eller and Ross . They're asking us to file a motion on behalf of the county courts this will result in a wage garnishment or lien. We will be sending a process server to your place of employment or your home address . To speak directly with Eller and Ross , they can answer any questions you may have regarding this case before you are served . Direct line is 8 5 5- 5 0 0- 8 4 9 6 . Case number is N S 5 6 8 7 This is once again is for xxxxx 8 5 5- 5 0 0- 8 4 9 6 . Thank you .…”
