Type of a scam Employment
They were using an email address from Indeed, but asked that I respond by using their email address with ECloud.
Not once in the email was there a name of a company that I supposedly applied for. And I certainly never applied to ECloud!
The Subjuct line and the usual spam risk information etc at the bottom of the email was all in German.
Not knowing what ‘ECloud’ was, I looked them up. What I have found were multiple websites of complaints where this company has taken money from people’s accounts.
Luckily, I did not respond to that email!
I think I have figured out how! They send out an email about something (mine was employment), and the Target responds using the requested ECloud email “No thank you” or something similar.”
That ECloud rep then signs them up for service without that person’s knowledge/permission!
Company gets a sale! And depending on how observant the person is with their bank account, ECloud can go for years taking money from them!
The rest of this person’s ECloud email included ‘imail’. I looked that up. It’s a ‘Wave’ service that allows you to browse undetected.
This is all very suspicious and smacks of illegal activity. This company needs a serious deep level investigation done on them.
