Went to website that was listed as paybyphone.com, which is legit, but they had a specific Ottawa (for my city) that takes you apkparks website and then subsequently Dulcetty.com - in order to download a parking app. Super weird layered scam. Reported to my Visa company and looks like charges are being reversed though.

I was trying to sign up with a trash company. They bought out another trash company. We received a letter telling us about the sale and to sign up. There was a website address to type in or I could use the QR scan which I did. I didn't see above the URL for the trash company because below it says Open. It was an ad for Dulcetty.com. I thought I had to enter information for the trash company. I only put in my husband's name and his email address. I no sooner put that in and it comes up with I am signed up for movies, music and other stuff. I am worried because I can't find an email address to cancel or a phone number to cancel. Dulcetty charges $49.95 per month, I guess. They give you five days and after that no refund. I told my husband. I don't know if he has any credit cards associated with that email address. I am afraid they will charge whatever credit cards he has associated to that email address.

I scanned a QR code for a subscription to PBS. Dulcety.com popped up on my screen and took me to sight to enter credit card info. I thought the site was PBS. I entered info and immediately $1.99 was withdrawn from my bank account. The money withdrawn was for xhamer.club. This website company advertising online games fraudulently withdrew the money. If I don't get this cancelled, they will withdraw $39.99 in 7 days (trial period) and every month on the same day until cancelled. I cannot reach them by phone or email to cancel. I find other reviews about this xgamer.club site with the same experiences. I did not subscribe nor did I authorize the payment of any monies to this fraudulent web site. There is a similar website that appears legitimate. It is x-gamer club. Notice the only difference is the hyphen for the legitimate company.
