Type of a scam Tax Collection
I called the number because they did not say who the call was for, the message was a little muffled. a gentleman answered and I asked for Michael brown and he asked for my name but I did not give it to him I told him I was calling because a message was left but I did not know who the call was for. He said it was for 'my name' I said okay can you tell me what this is about and he said today is the last day to turn in forms to settle for tax fraud I said oh okay when were the papers mailed and where he said 40 days ago and he said my address I said oh well no papers have been received. I never said I was the correct person or if that was the correct address I just said oh to get more information from him. He then stated that we could go over it on the phone I said okay go ahead and he hung up the phone.
