I received a letter in the mail saying I owed an outstanding balance to Koodo, I was emailing a lady about payment options. She phoned me and we can to the plan of $1000. I sent two payments, one was $300 and the second was $700. I e-transfered the money to a legit looking payee ( [email protected]) on May 28th 2022. It is is now Janurary 2024 and I have yet to receive a letter stating I paid anything and my credit is ruined because of it. I called general credit collections and it says in their end I did in fact pay the $1000 but there is no proof to state that the file was closed with ofili. I have tried calling on multiple different phones and have tried emailing and I haven’t heard anything. Their website doesn’t even exist anymore.
