Had message i would be served between 3 an 5 pm at home or work. I could call a number to reschedule. I called and they offered a lower rate if i pay in full. Told me if i get served it would be for much higher amount and court costs. Was also told that if i want available it would go to the courts and i must have 2 forms of ID. I argued with them told them i couldnt aford the pay off amount. They offered payment arrangement, said i could only do 100 per month but couldnt start till my next payday. They said they would call back, they didnt and tge time i was told id be served lapsed. I called again to find out what was going on. Was told payment arrangement was accepted. Was offered an even lower amount if pd in full, said i couldnt afford that either. They asked if i knew someone with a credit card could pay it for me, i told them no. I would make the payments per the payment arrangement but i needed an address to send the check to. They told me it had to be auto withdrawl. I said no. They started telling me it was that or it would go to the court, that i missed the ability to pay by check because i didnt responds to their letters. I hung up, i called back a few minutes later and asked for a mailing address. Was asked why and i said i wanted to send a letter explaining my situation. They said they dont accept letters and hung up when i asked for the address. Called back 2 more times to ask for an address was hung up on bith times. Called back again and asked to speak to whomever they said was working my case, all i wanted was a mailing address and was tired of being hung up on. They gave me an email address. I decided to look them up on line to see if i could find an mailing address and find all these reports of scamming in the last 3 months, same scenario, same initial message and same phone number. They were very convincing i almost fell for it.

They called about a Web loan that was taken out. Gave me the name of the company dates, etc. said that I would be in contempt of court if I didn’t set up a payment arrangement

Called several times stating that there was a legal action pending and they are trying to serve me papers and if I don't contact them, I would be arrested.

They called my dad and my brother looking for me. They gave me the phone number I called them back. I spoke with somebody. The guy was telling me that I have a debt collection and I’m gonna have to pay all this money. I was like over $2000 I can settle for 500 or I can get an attorney to an appeal when I asked for information on who to speak to about this situation they couldn’t give me any info he got really mean and nasty and hung up on me, I called back to see if I can speak to somebody else to see if anything else was going on if it was true because he gave my full social, he gave my address. He gave my old workplace that I used to work at when I called back again I spoke with the same person he hung up on me again. He just kept saying it was from loan that I took out in 2015.

Caller identified herself as Waypoint Resource Group who's been hired but an company who I owe a debt to. Then stated my Social Security Number and email address. She then stated we will be pursuing you legally and placing a wage garnishment upon you. I said Good Luck and contact me attorney in the future not me. I then hung and up and blocked the number. The number is listed in multiple debt collection spam items among google searches far and wide.

First caller said that he was trying to deliver papers to my address but no one was home. 1st lie. Then gave me a ref id and phone number to call. The 2nd person called me by my middle and maiden name and said O had a delinquent bill with Wells Fargo and that I should have received a letter in the mail but at this point I was being sued in county civil court next week unless I make payments to them. He emailed me some documents.

"Legal Services" called multiple phone numbers asking for me. They called my wife, my work, and my mother. They said that I have a past due account with Sprint from 5 years ago, despite me never having used Sprint. They said that a legal server will be serving paperwork soon and that they've mailed information. They had my SSN, phone numbers, addresses, etc. They call from different numbers spoofed to match the local area.

These people called my son in the navy in FL telling him about legal documents? They left a message. They had all of my information. Never heard of them. 

BBB Note:  The company that contacted this individual could be a scammer posing as the company.  When an individual gets these types of calls, it is a good suggestion to have all future communication sent in writing along with any documents that can verify that you owe that debt, who you owe the debt to, when the debt occured, and when did they assume the debt.  You may also want to obtain a copy of your credit report to verify that the debt is still listed as outstanding.

he call my family members, and then told me my father took a loan out under me call cashnet or eznet in 2015 which is impossible since he was deceased. When they called and I answered he said stop yelling at him and hung up and I had not said a word. I am concerned they has my SS# and address and everything and I did not confirm anything.

After speaking to Brandon Bias he told me I had until 3:00 today to come up with some $$. He called. The process server to wait on coming until I can figure out how to get the money together.. will go to court and have even more fees He told me to call him at extension #515 then said call him directly at this # 2137706218. This was from 2005 bill from First consumer Bank then turned to Bank of America.

I received a voicemail message from a law firm stating that they were placing a lien on my property. They asked me to call them back amd said it was time sensitive. They gave me a call back phone number but my missed call list said private number. They did have my correct name and street name but did not provide my house number. It sounded like she was reading from a script. I have never received any documents in the mail. Could be a scam or old debt collector using shady tactics.

I got a phone call and a voice-mail about a ezcorp loan that I did not get over 10 years ago and I was informed that I have to pay over 2700 dollars

I got a phone call from my this number, I sent it to voicemail. They left this voicemail for me. I have blanked my name and DOB.

“ Is a very very urgent message for ___________ born December 19 ** Calling you from nationwide courier services Have your legal documents that we've been hired to deliver They're ready for delivery We need you to return the phone call to the main office at 8 6 6 9 9 1 3 7 5 9 With case reference number 2 2 – 1 3 1 8 ***Let us know when you're gonna be available to receive a time for the documents What is your time sensitive require an ID and signature If I return calls not received, it could result in a missed delivery And legal proceedings will begin without your military consent Will also have to take delivery at your last place of employment That number once again is eight 6 9 9 1 3 7 5 9 With case reference number 2 2 – 1 3 1 8 ***”

When I called back, they wanted to know my address so they could serve me papers. They could not provide any information to me since I would not share my address, email address. I informed them right away that this was a scam and they should get a real job. The person (who game me is name to be Calvin Thompson) became angry and told me to give him the info requested or it could end badly for me in front of the judge once they came after me. I asked to see which county was the court order from and he wouldn’t tell me, he actually hung up on me telling me he was not interested in helping someone with a bad attitude like me. A few minutes later I get a message from one of my sisters saying the same person had been in contact with her demanding information from her about me. Then about another hour later, my other sister text me a transcript of the voicemail he has left for her pertaining to me. I called back and told him to stop calling my sister, but I didn’t mention them calling my other sister too. At this point, he was laughing and telling me he was not interested in talking to me that he would get the information needed as it was his job to do so. I told him I will be in contact with our sheriffs department office and I will see him in front of the judge!!

Texted from nondescript snd unknown number to me via 206-804-2626 stating they had a problem processing a payment I allegedly made to them. Requested: "Please call us immediately at 210-441-7894. Outgoing text only."

Didn't bother, don't know what they're talking about. Blocked and reported.

Repeated calls from this number stating; "This is a time sensitive message from MRS please kindly return our call using the number on your caller ID as soon as possible to be connected with a live representative who may better assist you. Again please return our call at the earliest convenience..." I believe this is a new number and tactic from a fake 'debt collection' agency who has also been super aggressive, threatening to "serve me papers" yet I am never served. Weeks and months go by without such court papers served, and the calls continue about a vague, fake debt I am supposed to have continue. I have blocked this number as well and the voicemails continue.
