This guy's name is Maurice Agbas and I believe he operates or owns Dealervoyant that offers 3 Georgia used car dealer plates, auction access, and a GA DMV approved office for $1,599 and $495 per month on NYC business section on Craigslist. The problem is that it's all misleading, and intellectually dishonest. You find out the TRUTH once you have already signed a lease for an office that I believe he has an interest. The company Dealervoyant doesn't tell you that you cannot just be a wholesaler...you find out later that you can only obtain a retail/wholesale dealership in GA. It's illegal to state your business is only a used car wholesaler in GA. Something Dealervoyant doesn't tell you. You also have to take a GA used car dealership class in GA, not Brooklyn, or elsewhere in NY like he leads you to believe you can. By being mandated to a retail outlet that subjects you into making reports to the IRS on anyone paying 10k+ in cash and or paying in money orders. It also subjects you in certain matters to report to Homeland Security. It gets better. If you were ever arrested, and fingerprinted, and say you forgot to state it on your application, you can face a $500.00 fine. There's more...the police state and federal agencies are investigating these businesses who promise or promote such services. On the surface it looks good, but they work the gray area and do it well as long as nobody reports them. You'll soon find out "after you signed the lease" that you CANNOT get your GA dealer plates unless you exchange your current driving license to a GA driving license or give the company a power of attorney so they can do you more favors. I signed the BS lease on 7/7/23, spotted the scam and officially cancelled the BS lease on 10/2/23 all within 30 days. I'm fighting for my $2100 that I may or may not get back, so far it looks like I might. I'm within 30 days to cancel, I paid by card, and this business is recognized as a scambag by law enforcement. My advice, run and don't bother with Dealervoyant, they're full of it and they advocate true lies.
