D & S Handyman Service advertised his service of painting and drywall repair on the local Nextdoor app. I contacted him and arranged for an estimate for the painting and drywall work that I needed in my home. He was able to look at the work the following day. Two days later a contract was provided describing the work and a $320.00 down payment was provided. A start date of two days later was agreed upon. He did not show and did not let me know that he was not going to show. He contacted me later with a new date, he didn't show or communicate again. This happened on two more occasions. I asked for a return of the money and on four occasions he agreed to meet and repay the money, he did not follow through.
