I received numerous calls on March 03,2024 from 561 608-1163. I spoke to Anna Alex who claimed to be from Experian (employee ID AN2326). I was told someone had tried to use my information to open a credit account. I was transferred first to a Miguel, who also claimed to be with Experian. He gave me Experian Confirmation # BB89582. I was again transferred to a male named Hamza (561 608-1163), also with Experian. He stated that I had been chosen as one of 150,000 seniors to be relieved of all my credit card debt under the Cares Act. They had all my personal information, including all my credit cards & the balances I had on each, I was told that their legal service, New Life Financial (866 978-7813) would handle all the legal issues with the credit card companies & that I should immediately stop paying my monthly payments on my cards, Hamza stated that the fee for their services would be charged to my cards but would not cost me anything once all debt was resolved in 5-6 months. I was transferred to a Rick Shirley (866 978-7813) & was told I would only be dealing with him concerning any contact I received from the card companies & that in 5-6 months I would be receiving settlement letters. Immediately, $4999.08 & $4997.54 was charged to two of my credit cards. Unfortunately, they completely scammed me into approving the transactions. The payments were made to CRYSTAL CLEAR CONSULTANTS. Both banks are conducting investigations on the activity.
