Caller ID lists incoming caller as just “Shepherd.” Took three calls to get them to offer the full business name of Shepherd Outsourcing — In reality this is a collection agency attempting to collect on old debt accounts well beyond the statute of limitations. Quick research appears they are previously/ Aka LVNV Funding, previously/ Aka Jefferson Capital. When I asked one representative: What is Shepherd, Who are you, What do you want, etc- He wrongfully and inaccurately described Shepherd as a “financial institution”. It is not a financial institution and they should not describe themselves as such! Do not speak to these deceitful thieves! They are trying to corner you into reactivating a dormant and inactionable account!
