i called Chase Freedom to activate my new Chase Visa Card and it the automated message said i won $100 gift card. A lady came on and told me they needed a $4.50 Processing fee to may out the $100 Gift certificate.

I wasnt confortable with this, so triple confirmed that there wasnt any back ended serivces i would need to cancel and she promised there wasnt any. 3-5 days later i get 3 enrollment letter for First Med Foundation $38.97 Monthly, Shop Smart247 $29.59 Monthly and ID Solution Group $34.92 Monthly. Luckly my Credit card saw the 3 charges to my bank account and i was able to cancel the payment.

i called what i though was a barclays credit card company and misdialed (pressed a 7 vs a 4), the person who answered was difficult to understand and pretended to be barclays. I incorrectly assumed it was barclays trying to confirm my personal/cc info. When the person then played me a recording outlining a purchase. When I asked if it was barclays, he said yes and then hung up. i called back the number and the person who answered - saugusan - said I needed to give the credit card number again to "confirm" I said no and eventually hung up on me. Saugusan told me the call center was offshore in Asia and the headquarters were in Florida - I think Tampa. He said it was called savings and rewards. I asked for more infomraiton and he refused. He said he wasn't going to charge me but I cancelled the credit card anyway. 1-866-928-3104 was the number I meant to dial. Insteady, I dialed a 7 for the last number. I had trouble understanding the person on the phone so I certainly wasn't careful enough. I tried to cancel and the man told me he wouldn't charge me but I cancelled my credit cards just in case.

I was given the following numbers: 888-346-4780

240-416-1500-5583
