Six days after filing for an LLC in Connecticut, I received, via USPS, a letter claiming to be from C.P.S., a DBA of ANS, Inc. They stated that I was required to adhere to OSHA regulations and listed several penalties for failing to do so. The lower part of the letter is an order form for the Safety Manual, which came pre-filled with my contact information, and asked for my Business Activity category. Then it requested a check or online payment for $295 and my signature.
