Counterfeit Product - Blue Ocean Project Reports & Reviews (1)

- Tyrone, GA, USA

The company now operates under the name Blue Ocean Project out of China - they have used different names in the past according to reviews I've read online.

They have rearranged the name of an actual non-profit called Ocean Blue Project. The Blue Ocean Project has you two possible websites to navigate to - one a US site and the other for the Netherlands. Nothing is mentioned that they are actually located in China, except when they emailed my daughter the phone # and address to send the return +86 180 6981 1620

5th Floor, Building 2, No. 8 Fengbao Road, Tangxia Town, Dongguan City, Guangdong Province (Guangda Manufacturing, Tangxia Smart Valley) .

My daughter ordered the sweatshirt November 29th and the email said she would receive in 7-12 days. She contacted the company 12/8 and asked them to cancel her order and refund her money as it was needed for a party 12/10. They claimed they had already shipped the item, which was untrue. They shipped it the next day. She received her item 12/20 and the quality was not as pictured. She emailed them after reading their return policy to request a return shipping label and they continue to give her the run around providing a different discount amount each time stating she can keep the item and they would refund her 20% or 30% and provide a 50% discount on future orders, but refusing to honor their refund policy as stated on their website and actually fully refund her.

One email even stated stated that she could return the item with refund but she would be responsible to pay 12-15 Euros (even though we are in the USA) for return shipping.

This is the return policy on their website: "We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at [email protected]

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted."

The quality of the item is not as advertised and she meets all the above qualifications for a refund. If there is a way to shut down this fraudulent company please do. Since she used her debit card (I found that out after the fact) the bank will not refund her money since she received the item.
