I have received calls, emails, and texts from an individual calling himself Damian White. He claims to want to schedule 40 prepaid (by cashier's check) therapy sessions for his son "Kyle." He has called/texted from the number (208) 391-3731 and emailed from [email protected].

I have had the same experience. This person has been calling himself "Damian White," and has requested 40 prepaid (via cashier's check) sessions for his son "Kyle." He has called and texted from the phone number (208) 391-3731 and emailed from [email protected].

I received an inquiry on psychology today from a father seeking counseling for his son and wanting to send me a cashiers check for 40 sessions or $4800. He was insistent on it being a cashier's check. I spoke with the son but he had a different name of the father that the father stated his name was. He stated she would mail me a cashier's check but I told them I know it's a scam and they stopped contacting me. Scammers number 2083913731

I JUST HAD THE SAME THING! AND FROM THE SAME NUMBER! They wanted 40 sessions upfront for 8050$ When I contacted them and said I am willing to do 5 sessions, it MUST be in person, they got spooked and "ran." is there a way to report these people?

I received an email from a father seeking counseling for his son and wanting to send me a cashiers check for 40 sessions or $3000. He was insistent on me depositing the check but I hadn’t yet and he sent me an email stating that he needed part of the money wired to his son’s guardian. I never deposited the check and told them I would not wire any money. They stopped contacting me - the check was a fake I believe even though it looks very legit.
